Job description

Purpose:

Implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. Complete network improvement projects with current network engineer.


Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • (Configure and install various network devices and services (ex. Firewall, Switches, Wireless controller, NMS).
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches and hot fixes.
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Managing & keeping track of all network assets (Hardware & software).
  • Communicate with HQ network engineers in South Korea to implement & operate Global Mando Network Solutions.


Qualifications:

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or related field
  • More than 3 years’ experience in the above-mentioned technical areas
  • Proven experience managing mid- to large-scale network environment across multiple locations


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VLAN trunking. Experience with Cisco
  • Strong knowledge of firewall management (Palo Alto, PFsense or Cisco) and VPN technologies (IPSEC/SSL)
  • Experience managing enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions and troubleshooting RF interference.
  • Deep understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications are highly valued.


Legal Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Supervisory Responsibility: No

 

Working Conditions:

  • Constant office setting with rare exposure to hazards.
  • Constant use of computer and office equipment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Constant sitting and occasional walking
  • Rare lifting, carrying. Or pushing/pulling up to 10lbs.
  • Constant keyboarding


Remote Work: This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
