Job Description
A Network Engineer is responsible for the setup, configuration, running network deployments, buildouts, Migrations. This includes but not limited to, hands on work in a datacenter lab environment, buildouts/deployments, configuring network elements to pass traffic through the test setup, Configuring a traffic generator, troubleshooting issues with the baseline test setup, gathering test data, analyzing the test data for root causes, and building test reports, working with stakeholders and DCS teams.
Required Skills
• 6+ year experience in network build out deployments/Migrations in Enterprise environments
• 6+ years' experience with Datacenter Switches and Routers (Arista, Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with one or more Network element OS (EOS, NXOS, IOS, JUNOS, SONiC).
• Experience with Layer 2 Protocols (VLAN, Bridges, Ethernet).
• Good change management, network troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Previous MS experience is PLUS.
• Having Knowledge in Dev-ops is a Plus
• Keeping relevant parties updated on the status of incidents
• Developing and implementing processes and procedures for incident management
• Developing change management plans for change initiatives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
