Job description

Job Summary:

Access Labs is seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Junior Multimedia Designer to support our marketing team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Marketing Director and senior designer, collaborating across marketing, sales, and service teams and external vendors to translate creative vision into compelling, multi-channel outputs.

Rather than focusing on a single channel, this is a true multimedia role spanning UX/UI, video, motion, graphic design, and print. You will create visual assets that tell impactful stories, educate and train our clients, support our commercial and service teams, showcase our testing and diagnostic technology, and maintain consistent visual standards across every format while exploring new tools and techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

Multimedia & Print Collateral

  • Cross-Media Visual Design: Create on-brand layouts, graphics, and collateral across print (brochures, product guides, event signage) and digital formats that align with campaign objectives.
  • Commercial & Service Enablement: Design materials to assist sales and customer service teams, including presentation decks, client education tools and videos, and training guides.
  • UX/UI Support: Assist in designing user-centered assets and visual elements for digital interfaces and web platforms.

Motion & Video Production

  • Video & Motion Editing: Edit short-form video content, incorporating light motion graphics, basic animations, resizing, and captioning for various viewing platforms.
  • Technology & Product Showcasing: Craft engaging visual assets that highlight Access Labs' diagnostic testing capabilities and proprietary lab technology.
  • Training & Educational Media: Produce instructional video content, tutorial clips, and onboarding visuals to support client education and team training initiatives.

Brand Stewardship & Operations

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure visual consistency, proper typography, layout, and color systems across all print and digital media.
  • Asset Organization: Manage design files, templates, and creative asset libraries to streamline collaboration across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers, incorporating feedback in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
  • Format Optimization: Adapt creative assets for varying platform specifications, audiences, and emerging media formats.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required Experience & Technical Skills

  • Experience: 2?5 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or digital content creation.
  • Software Mastery: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite?specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Design Fundamentals: Solid command of typography, layout, color theory, and brand guidelines across print and screen.
  • Video/Motion Experience: Demonstrated ability to edit video and create motion content. Videography experience and capabilities a big plus!
  • Portfolio Requirement: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing diverse work across graphic design, print or UX/UI concepts, and video/motion content.
