What You'll Do

The Junior Graphic Designer will join our Entertainment & Media Creative team to support the creation of compelling brand storytelling and creative development for Authentic's Entertainment division. This collaborative, hands-on team is responsible for everything from new business, partner, and category pitches, to handling all of the day-to-day creative needs for brands such as Shaquille O'Neal, Sports Illustrated, Elvis Presley, Kevin Hart, Marilyn Monroe, and more. The ideal candidate is a creative person who has a distinct point of view on design, an eye for detail, and is excited to collaborate with a team.

What you'll be working on

  • Pitches & Presentations
  • Assist in the creation of tailored, brand-right pitches and presentations including mockups, infographics, and creative concepts, showcasing strong layout and typography abilities
  • Brand Assets & Storytelling
  • Develop a deep understanding of the brands and how to convey their voices and personality across mediums
  • Work with the team on brand books, style guides, brand guides, etc.
  • Branding and Creative Production for Owned Experiences
  • Event graphics & collateral
  • Brand Marketing Deliverables
    • Digital & Print Ads
    • Division Recaps & Brand Case Studies
  • Social Media Content Development
  • Creative Workflow from Brief to Release and Production
  • Translate and adapt existing brand guidelines to support overall business needs with creative for product development, brand extensions, POP, signage, and more
  • Ensure consistency of visual communications across all creative touchpoints and adherence to brand standards throughout the creative process

Must Haves:

  • ~1+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer and/or degree in Graphic Design
  • Adobe Creative Suite with focus on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Strong Graphic Design portfolio available for review
  • Basic knowledge of layout, typography, composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Web, Video, Motion Graphics, and/or retouching experience a plus
  • Experienced in creative problem solving, innovative visual storytelling, and working strategically across disciplines
  • Must be able to set priorities and multi-task
  • Comfortable in a high-paced, collaborative environment
  • Detail oriented and a team player
