AWS experience is a plus, but the core of the position is strong Linux administration and automation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create, debug, and implement automation using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
  • Help design technical solutions and Linux architecture that meet mission and organizational requirements.

  • Strong hands-on Linux administration experience, including configuration, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Hands-on scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
  • Minimum DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or an accepted equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively on a small technical team, mentor junior staff, and communicate issues clearly.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the AWS Command Line Interface (AWS CLI).
  • Experience developing or supporting AWS automation with Boto3.
  • Experience supporting Linux systems in hybrid cloud or multi-network environments.
