Job description

Qualis LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for enterprise IT systems supporting government and defense programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints. This individual will work closely with senior infrastructure support staff to deploy, maintain, and support enterprise technologies while ensuring a secure and reliable computing environment.

Essential Duties

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop and laptop systems.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop operating systems, applications, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Deploy and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and endpoint hardware.
  • Assist users with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, VPN connectivity, and collaboration tools.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot Active Directory and Entra ID user accounts and permissions.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and endpoint management platforms.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, authentication, and network connectivity issues.
  • Image, configure, and deploy new endpoint systems while maintaining asset inventory.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior infrastructure and cybersecurity staff.
  • Assist with endpoint security, MFA, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Document incidents and resolutions within the ITSM platform.
  • Participate in after-hours support or on-call rotation as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted
  • Experience
    • 2–5 years of enterprise IT support experience.
    • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, macOS, and basic Linux systems.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
    • Experience with endpoint deployment and management solutions.
    • Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
    • Government/DoD experience preferred.
  • Skill
