Summary
The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with a Senior Interior Designer to support the design of renovation projects. They will learn the interior design process by working alongside the Senior Interior Designer throughout the entire project. The Junior Interior Designer is responsible for ensuring the Design Studio is always client ready and organized.
Responsibilities
• Assist Senior Interior Designer by preparing for productive client design meetings. Document selections from client meetings and ensure these are accurate throughout the renovation process. Assist Senior Interior Designer in furniture, plumbing, lighting, and material selections while keeping within budget.
• Obtain quotes for items such as glass/mirrors, tile, countertops, cabinets, cabinet hardware, plumbing, and lighting.
• Pick up samples from vendors.
• Create construction documents from 3D drawings and floor plans and dimension accurately and to industry standards
• Update construction documents as needed
• Assist Senior Interior Designer at job site visits to keep a pulse on the project and stay committed to the client experience.
• Assist Senior Interior Designer in obtaining materials and samples that are not in our showroom
• Organize and keep Design Studio client ready. Ensure samples are easy to find.
• Run ninety.io during Design L10 meetings. Update Design L10 scorecard for meetings.
• Organize client gifts.
• Organize and stage photoshoots.
• Accurate hour logging for job-related time is being kept daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Own design for 3 kitchens including but not limited to making all selections (plumbing, hardware, materials, cabinets, lighting), all drawings, and presenting to the client
• Own design for 3 baths including but not limited to making all selections (plumbing, hardware, materials, cabinets, lighting), all drawings, and presenting to the client

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline
• Successfully completed an internship in Interior Design, preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized
• Motivated individual with the desire to learn and grow
• Ability to learn Chief Architect
• Ability to draw As-Built Drawings
