Job description

Indotronix is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client tech hubs for our Direct client

Position: Senior Java Developer

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, and Phoenix, AZ

5 Days in the office

Acceptable time zone(s): EST only

Days of the week: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: EST - 8 am start

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Technology and banking would be a plus, not required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Own frontend features end-to-end within a micro frontend and backend ecosystem.

Translate ambiguous product requirements into concrete UI solutions.

Influence API contracts and frontend data models.

Identify and address frontend and backend performance issues.

Maintain and improve frontend CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment configuration.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Must Have Technical Skills:

Looking for 8+ years of experience.

Deep experience with Java Spring Boot & Angular.

Strong unit testing practices.

Frontend and backend performance optimization.

API contract awareness and influence.

CI/CD pipeline maintenance.

Deployment and configuration of micro frontends and backends on OCP.

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

Familiarity with JUnit, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Mongo, Elastic, Kafka, ServiceNow, Jenkins, OpenShift

Soft Skills:

Interpersonal skills

Giving and receiving constructive feedback

Team collaboration

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's preferred, or equivalent work experience

Interview Process:

First round - virtual with screen share (30 minutes). This interview will include screen share challenges where the candidate will be asked to decipher what is wrong with code block. The team is looking for an individual who can explain their train of thought when it comes to deciphering code issues and how it would be corrected. This is a very conversational interview.

Second round - still virtual, unless in the Cleveland market; could be in person to meet the manager directly.
