Job description

The Core Networking team is responsible for developing, deploying and operating Apple’s networking software. Whether it’s TCP/IP networking stack software that powers billions of iPhones, or high performance kernel bypass and hardware offload running on Apple Silicon servers powering Private Cloud Compute, our work covers the entire network lifecycle, including silicon/hardware design, driver and runtime.

The candidate needs to be able to work in a fast paced environment, operate gracefully
under stress, handle multiple assignments in parallel, and be self driven to be effective
in an environment with little overhead. The candidate also needs to show initiative, be
able to take ownership of a problem area, and demonstrate an ability to understand the
role of the group's technology in the larger context of the product and network
environment. The position has cross-functional aspects and the candidate will need to

Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent networking software development experience
Skill in C/C++, software build toolchain and utilities

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
