Job description

Job Title: AOI Programmer

Employment: Contract

Pay Rate: $26-$32


We are looking for an AOI Programmer responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining inspection programs for Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment. In this role, you will work closely with production, engineering, and machine operators to ensure process efficiency, high product quality, and smooth work center operations to meet production targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain programs for AOI machines using FactoryLogix software.
  • Monitor SMT equipment lines to verify program performance, maximize process efficiency, and ensure ongoing product quality.
  • Perform customer-specified program modifications and ECO updates accurately.
  • Diagnose and resolve program and equipment faults to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with production teams, process engineers, and machine operators to maintain equipment and maintain production schedules.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting an SMT manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to program AOI machines required. Experience operating or programming Saki and Yestech machines is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD files; basic understanding of electrical assemblies.
  • Strong ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime (OT) and weekends in addition to the standard 40-hour workweek as required by production needs.
