ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution for a new data center build, owning day-to-day site operations across complex, utility-intensive infrastructure and vertical construction. This role is responsible for driving schedule, coordinating trades, and ensuring disciplined execution in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from sitework through commissioning
  • Own schedule execution, sequencing, and milestone delivery across multiple trades
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain workflow continuity
  • Oversee installation of critical infrastructure including underground utilities, power, and telecom systems
  • Partner with engineering, design, and inspection teams to resolve field issues in real time
  • Enforce strict safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance across all site operations
  • Manage daily reporting, production tracking, and progress against schedule
  • Ensure quality control, inspections, and successful turnover for commissioning
  • Drive accountability across crews to maintain pace, precision, and execution standards

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience supervising large-scale sitework and/or data center construction projects
  • Strong background in heavy civil, underground utilities, and infrastructure sequencing
  • Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors on fast-paced job sites
  • Deep understanding of CPM scheduling and production-driven execution
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, inspection, and utility stakeholders
  • Hands-on leader with a strong track record of safety ownership and zero-incident culture
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure, milestone-driven environments
  • Detail-oriented with strong command of drawings, specs, and field problem-solving
  • Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure (power, fiber, telecom, etc.) preferred
