Job Summary:
This position plays a key role in supporting Human Resources operations for our warehouse facility in Baytown, Texas. This includes handling recruitment, onboarding, employee records, training coordination, and attendance tracking. Partnering closely with warehouse leadership, the position helps ensure consistent application of HR policies, promotes a safe work environment, and supports employee engagement in a fast‐paced operational setting.
About The Role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Manages the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
- Partners with department managers and supervisors to support their HR needs and ensure consistent adherence to all HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Acts as a key liaison between the Baytown warehouse and Toronto Head Office HR, supporting communication, reporting, and policy alignment.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, implementing, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records and reports
- Promote and maintain a safe, secure, clean, and compliant work environment for all employees.
- Foster and enhance the corporate culture through the organization of team building activities, and other related functions and initiatives (planning of social events- summer event/holiday event)
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees
- Manage and track employee vacations and absences
- Other HR duties as assigned by Senior Management

Requirments:
- Post-secondary diploma/associate diploma/degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 1-3 years in an HR and/or administrative role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, preferred.
- Exceptional time management and self-management skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills: both written and verbal
