OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join us, temporarily (18 months), on our mission to create simple and enjoyable experiences through universal design. This position will have the expertise to see what others cannot-creating captive experiences like no one has seen before.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop, enhance and maintain customer-facing website experiences and Design System components for the public website ecosystem.

  • Translate approved UX designs and Design System standards into reusable, accessible page patterns and components using semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  • Develop reusable Edge Delivery Services blocks, including appropriate authoring fields, content models and approved variations.

  • Build responsive, interactive web experiences that work reliably across browsers, devices and screen sizes.

  • Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end experiences with APIs, forms and approved third-party services.

  • Ensure implementations meet WCAG requirements, including keyboard accessibility and screen-reader usability.

  • Optimize front-end performance, including Core Web Vitals, image delivery, asset loading and overall page speed.

  • Implement SEO-friendly markup, metadata and structured data, along with required analytics, tagging and consent-management requirements.

  • Test and validate work through local development, authoring, preview and production environments; contribute to unit, integration and end-to-end testing as appropriate.

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues and technical dependencies across the website stack.

  • Use Git, code-review practices, automated checks and CI/CD workflows to support reliable releases and production validation.

  • Maintain websites and related integrations to ensure they remain secure, current, functional and scalable.

  • Work closely with designers, product managers and other developers to translate requirements into functional code.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation for the codebase and development processes.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in web development, computer science or a related field.

  • Three to five years of relevant web-development experience, supported by a digital portfolio demonstrating your work.

  • Strong hands-on experience developing customer-facing website experiences and Design System components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and applicable front-end frameworks and libraries, such as Bootstrap, React, Angular or Vue.js.

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is preferred; experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, reusable block development or content-authoring workflows is a strong asset.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms and integrating websites with CRM platforms, forms or other third-party services.

  • Experience translating designs into clean, reusable and semantic code within a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong knowledge of accessible development practices and WCAG requirements.

  • Working knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, web standards, web security practices and SEO fundamentals.

  • Experience using Git, code-review practices, automated testing and CI/CD workflows.

  • Experience improving web performance, including Core Web Vitals, and familiarity with analytics, tagging or consent-management tools is an asset.
