Your job :

  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentoring.
  • Maintaining high software quality standards by establishing best practises and habits, and identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • Help collect and document user requirements, develop user stories, estimates and work plans.
  • Design, develop and test unit applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Work with teammates to migrate existing applications to current technologies.
  • Develop, refine and adjust integrations between applications, and analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Assess opportunities to improve the application and processes and prepare justifying documents to be sent to team members and other parties concerned.

Prerequisites:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a developer implementing front-end and back-end solutions
  • Proficiency in microservices and API architecture with Java (spring boot) and integrations such as JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Java 8+ and user interface frameworks such as React.
  • Good understanding of DevOps tools (IAC, GIT, JSON, YAML, Jenkins, MAVEN, NEXUS, JUND, GITHUBACTION/HARNESS, HELM, Ansible, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault)
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and observability practises with Datadog, Cloud Watch and Splunk.
  • Knowledge of various technologies such as Postgres, MongoDB, Istio, Redis, SQL and NoSQL 
  • Excellent knowledge of quality testing and security concepts (CMS, SSO, data encryption, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation and operations)
  • Knowledge of agile methodology to adopt and adopt software development best practises, such as automated testing, code review and DevOps techniques
