This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer based in Netherlands.

In this role, you will take ownership of backend and frontend development, creating reliable systems, APIs, and internal tools that support business operations. You will work with modern technologies while contributing to architectural decisions, technical improvements, and product evolution. Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain new services using Python and Django-based technologies.
  • Build and improve APIs, backend services, and scalable systems that support business-critical workflows.
  • Develop internal tools and solutions that improve operational efficiency and enhance existing processes.
  • Work across the full stack by contributing to server-side development, web interfaces, and user-facing improvements.
  • Apply best practices in software architecture, testing, and development workflows to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with Python in production environments.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Django framework.
  • Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and handling large datasets.
  • Practical experience with containerization tools including Docker and docker-compose.
  • Experience working with queues, asynchronous processing, and multithreading concepts.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software architecture patterns.
  • Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approaches.
  • Solid understanding of client-server architecture and web fundamentals, including HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, and REST services.
  • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman, browser developer tools, or similar solutions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automation workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Django REST Framework, SCSS, JavaScript frameworks such as Alpine.js, Tailwind, NoSQL databases, environment management tools, or microservice architectures is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams.
