We work in a micro frontend architecture built on Vue 3 and TypeScript, which lets us ship independently deployable apps across multiple host platforms. We use AI-assisted and agentic development heavily and are actively building it into our standard engineering practice, with coding agents and AI tooling as part of the team's daily work.

What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
  • Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack)
  • Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and peers to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.
  • Contribute and help maintain our company-wide Vue UI Component Library
  • Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies
  • Work with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers.
Which skills are required:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development
  • AI/Agentic Development — must be fluent with Claude Code or similar agentic dev tools; applied AI experience (agents, MCP, AI features in production) is a strong plus
  • Maintain high code quality standards, functional specification documentation, and deliverables.
  • Experience integrating 1st and 3rd party APIs
  • Experience working with webpack and Vite
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude and technical orientation are required.
  • The ability to pay attention to detail
