Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT or Minneapolis, MN
Experience: 5+ Years
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance cloud-native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployments across integrated systems. This role requires strong hands-on experience with GCP, modern DevOps tooling, containerization, and Salesforce development and deployment, along with the ability to work in fast-paced, integration-heavy environments.
The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and comfortable managing complex workflows across cloud infrastructure, middleware, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Support Salesforce development and deployment activities using Apex, LWC, SFDX, and CLI tools.
  • Collaborate with development and integration teams to support middleware platforms and APIs.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable deployments using cloud-native and container-based solutions.
  • Implement monitoring and observability to ensure system health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues across environments.
  • Contribute to automation, security best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
DevOps & CI/CD
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
    • Maven, SonarQube, Checkmarx
  • Experience designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and services.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and networking concepts.
Containers & Orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience deploying and managing containerized applications.
Salesforce DevOps
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development and deployment, including:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • SFDX and Salesforce CLI
Middleware & Integration
  • Experience working with:
    • Kafka
    • Spring Boot
    • MuleSoft
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations.
Programming & Scripting
  • Proficiency in scripting languages:
    • Python
    • Bash
    • Groovy
  • Strong understanding of REST, JSON, and GraphQL APIs.
Monitoring & Observability
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
