About The Job You're Considering

We are seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of modern web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building great user experiences, learning from experienced engineers, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior developers, designers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while gaining hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies and AI-assisted software development practices.

Your Role
  • Develop and maintain user-facing features for web applications using React, Angular, or Vue, and support mobile application development initiatives as needed.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established architecture, component design, and state management patterns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, implement enhancements, and address feedback from QA and stakeholders.
  • Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar solutions to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve code quality and development skills.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver features throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, reusable components, and team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and estimation sessions.
  • Continuously learn emerging frontend technologies, AI development practices, and engineering best practices.
Your Skills and Experience
  • 1-3 years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend technologies.
  • Working knowledge of at least one modern frontend framework: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms as part of daily development activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to mobile application development using React Native, Flutter, iOS, or Android technologies.
  • Academic, personal, or professional experience with AI/LLM integrations, chat applications, or generative AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Portfolio, GitHub repository, or personal projects demonstrating software development capabilities.
  • Understanding of modern frontend development practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $43,984 - $105,600

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
