Allegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our corporate team in the Clear Lake area. This position will report to the Director of Finance.

Qualified candidates apply online. Compensation range: $60,000-$80,000. Candidates local to the Houston/Clear Lake area only.
This position requires working on-site at our office during regular business hours. This is not a remote or hybrid role.
Financial Analyst
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics and tracking.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements including cost control, Sales team KPI.
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboard.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Additional qualification (e.g. CPA or CFA or MBA) a plus
  • 0-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills โ€ข
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL and/or FCC (Fleet Cost & Care) NexGen preferable
  • Excellent presentation skills to enable easy internal client education on principles of accounting.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements
This position will work full time in the office (not remote). Must be able to meet attendance requirements of small office. Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about office. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. and sit at computer for extended lengths of time.
