SENIOR PRINT DESIGNER – JUNIOR FASHION

Position Summary:


Pink Rose is seeking a creative and trend-driven Senior Print Designer with 7+ years of fashion industry experience, preferably in the Junior market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating original print artwork, researching trends, and supporting seasonal development from concept through production.


Key Responsibilities:


• Create original and production-ready print artwork, including florals, plaids, novelty prints, sweater patterns, embroideries, placement graphics, and screen prints.

• Research fashion, print, color, and market trends to support seasonal development.

• Work with the Art Director on new print concepts, artwork development, and seasonal direction.

• Create and recolor artwork based on customer requests, seasonal trends, and color palettes.

• Prepare artwork for production, including repeats, color separations, indexing, and file preparation.

• Develop and review hangtags, labels, garment packaging, and other graphic materials as needed.

• Maintain print archives, artwork libraries, and copyright records.

• Source and review studio prints and artwork for seasonal development.

• Collaborate closely with Design, Sales, Production, and overseas factories throughout the development process.

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Present print concepts, artwork, and trend research to management and internal teams.

• Support a positive and collaborative team environment.


Qualifications:


• Minimum 7 years of print design experience in the fashion industry.

• Strong Junior market experience required; women’s apparel experience is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Print Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge.

• Strong understanding of textile printing, repeat development, and print production processes.

• Excellent print, color, and trend forecasting skills.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and overseas factories.

• Fashion flat sketching in Illustrator is a plus.
