The Role:
  • Monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions.
  • Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow.
  • Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant’s models.
  • Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
  • Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution
  • 1+ years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies
  • Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus
  • Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives)

WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer we will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
