Job description

Position Title: Junior Data Engineer
Location: Alexandria, VA (On-Site)
Clearance Requirements: Secret
Position Description:
Join a mission-driven team as a Junior Data Engineer supporting critical projects in Alexandria, VA. This role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows to organize and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver impactful data solutions. Ideal candidates are passionate about leveraging data to make a difference and thrive in technical environments focused on national security and public service.
Work will be performed onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Due to security requirements, candidates must hold at least a Secret clearance and be U.S. citizens. This is a contract position offering competitive hourly pay.

Top Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience with programming/query languages such as Python, SQL, R, or Scala
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining data applications for reporting and analytics

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
  • Secret security clearance is mandatory
