Serving both public and private sectors, Cochran's expertise spans municipal, commercial, residential, transportation, water/wastewater, site development, retail, planning, and interior design. With 120+ professionals, the firm delivers tailored solutions backed by deep expertise and is guided by core values of teamwork, excellence, quality, and trust—ensuring principal involvement and outstanding service throughout every project.

Cochran's Ozark, Missouri location, is looking for a Licensed Civil Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead engineering projects from planning and design through construction
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications
  • Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination
  • Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed
  • Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff
  • Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT certification required
  • PE license preferred, or actively pursuing PE licensure
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience, ideally in water and wastewater design and construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other relevant design software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
