This is a growth-oriented role for someone who is building their skills in Python and Go (Golang), is eager to learn, and is excited about the intersection of data engineering, automation, and applied AI.

You will work closely with various teams, receiving mentorship and hands-on experience integrating applications with our data infrastructure including Redshift, AWS services, and our Palantir AIP platform as we grow our automation and AI-driven, agentic capabilities across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who is curious, coachable, and eager to grow with a team that is actively building toward an AI-first future focused on employee productivity and operational automation.

At the heart of our work is a culture built on a passion for collaboration, technology, and helping foodservice business succeed.

We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

Development & Automation
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Python and Go-based automation workflows that optimize business and data processes.
  • Build and support backend microservices and integrations using both Python and Go (Golang) under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Develop APIs and services that enable cross-system automation and AI interaction.
  • Create reusable code libraries, automation utilities, and internal tools to accelerate future development.
AI & Agentic Workflows
  • Contribute to the development of AI-powered automations and agents — including within Palantir AIP — designed to help employees work more efficiently and reduce manual workflows.
  • Assist in building and iterating on LLM-backed workflows using Palantir AIP Logic and AIP Chatbot Studio as part of the team's agentic AI strategy.
  • Support the integration of LLM-based tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain) into internal workflows and applications.
Data Integration
  • Work with data and analytics teams to integrate Python and Go applications with Redshift, MySQL, and other data systems.
  • Support data pipeline development and assist in optimizing SQL queries and data workflows under senior guidance.
Engineering Practices
  • Implement unit tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and follow version control best practices using GitHub.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into technical requirements with team support.
  • Participate in code reviews, team standups, and knowledge-sharing sessions as an active and engaged contributor.
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience, bootcamp training, or demonstrable project work.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on Python development experience, including personal projects, internships, or coursework focused on automation, APIs, or data workflows.
  • Basic familiarity with Go (Golang) or strong willingness to learn; experience with statically typed languages (e.g., Java, C#, TypeScript) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and comfort querying relational databases; exposure to cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Exposure to deployment concepts such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda); production experience is not required.
  • Familiarity with LLM concepts and tools (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain); comfort learning and experimenting with enterprise AI platforms.
  • Eagerness to learn, receptiveness to mentorship, and strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to sharing updates on progress, timelines, and roadblocks along with proposed solutions.
Education and Experience:
  • Exposure to Palantir Foundry or AIP, including AIP Logic, AIP Chatbot Studio, or the Ontology SDK (Python).
  • Interest in agentic AI and employee-facing AI productivity tools; curiosity about how AI agents can automate operational workflows.
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain or Lang Graph; crew AI or custom orchestration exposure is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and ETL design basics.
  • Experience with full stack development concepts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations or similar CRM/API ecosystems.
