Job Description:

Securityhunter provides electronic and physical security solutions to federal customers and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. We are looking to expand our engineering team and hire a junior engineer to learn from our more experienced engineering staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to pass a government background check
  • Creates designs for electronic security systems including but not limited to Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.
  • Creates system testing plans for electronic security systems
  • Creates system operation manuals for electronic security systems
  • Reviews designs for accuracy and quality
  • Assists the business development team with proposal development
  • Creates mark-ups for CAD operators
  • Answers questions for field personnel via telephone
  • Assists help desk technicians via telephone when needed
  • Travels to conduct quality control inspections or system testing when needed
  • Maintains a working knowledge of new and existing products from established vendors
  • Actively learns from more experienced engineers
