What You'll Be Doing

  • Data modeling and transformation

    • Maintain dimensional and semantic models that support self-serve analytics and BI.

    • Establish and govern a consistent metrics layer to ensure a single source of truth.

  • Data quality, observability, and governance

    • Implement testing, data contracts, and monitoring to proactively detect and resolve data issues.

    • Partner with data engineering to enforce SLAs, lineage, and change management.

    • Uphold data privacy and security best practices appropriate for regulated environments.

  • Pipeline orchestration and reliability

    • Maintain, schedule, and optimize workflows for performance and cost.

    • Streamline deployments and validations

  • Business partnership and enablement

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary of $72,500 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
