Structural Engineer (7+ Years Experience) – RDA Consulting Engineers, LLC

Location: Naples, FL (On-site) - Relocation Assistance Available

Annual Salary: Competitive Annual Salary, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural calculations and design for high-end residential and commercial buildings.
  • Develop and review construction documents for pile-supported structures and coastal construction per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC.
  • Sign and seal structural documents as Engineer of Record.
  • Coordinate plans with architects and delegated engineers (mechanical, plumbing, trusses) and collaborate with in-house engineers, designers, and drafters.
  • Train junior engineers and oversee their projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida (required).
  • 7+ years of structural design experience focused on high-end residential and commercial projects (required).
  • Experience with pile-supported structures and coastal construction (required).
  • Design experience across wood, masonry, steel, and concrete, with proficiency in AutoCAD (required). 
  • Enercalc and Revit experience (preferred).
  • Epicore, aluminum, and precast design experience (preferred).
  • Post-tension design experience (preferred).
  • Experience training and mentoring junior engineers (preferred).
