Role based in: Ideally an existing maman market


maman is a french bakery, café and leading lifestyle brand founded in 2014 by owners Elisa Marshall & Benjamin Sormonte, with locations across North america and Canada. Inspired by family traditions, and the highest quality ingredients, maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods {including their famous nutty chocolate chip cookie}, coffee, fresh breakfast, and lunch options spanning from hearty salads & sandwiches to savory quiches. In addition to hosting intimate events, maman has partnered with leading brands for partnerships and activations. From baby showers and birthday parties to engagements, they're able to help celebrate customers & make new beautiful memories.

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join the maman team! Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for creating beautiful visuals, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life from brief to final production. In this role, you’ll help support maman’s marketing and creative needs across digital, in-store, retail, catering, events, and new store openings. P.S. must love cookies!


What you'll do:

Graphic/Digital Design

  • Create visual assets for in-store and digital needs based on creative briefs and brand guidelines

  • Adapt creative assets across digital and print formats

  • Create promotional materials for in-store and partnership collaborations 

  • Build email graphics using branded templates

  • Prepare files for production and print

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and maman’s other internal teams on initiatives, promotions and brand activations

  • Maintain consistency across maman’s visual identity and customer touchpoints in stores.


What we're looking for: 

  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience, 

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with the ability to independently execute creative requests. 

  • Portfolio showcasing strong design skills and creative process
  • Has an eye for detail, is proactive & resourceful
  • Flexible, willing to learn, and comfortable adapting to changing project needs, art direction, and feedback.

  • A collaborative team player who is excited to grow with maman

  • Quicker learner and able to adapt to maman’s unique culture
