Many employers also provide remote access to design files and collaboration tools to support part-time staff in staying connected.

What Are Part-Time Jobs in AutoCAD Drafting?

Part-time AutoCAD drafting jobs focus on a variety of positions that use computer software to design a 3D model of a required product and determine the equipment needed to manufacture it. Many part-time AutoCAD drafting jobs involve customized projects, such as designing countertops or other furniture to custom-fit a house. Depending on the needs of the company, this job may require traveling to work sites and performing AutoCAD drafting there, rather than working from an office. Many part-time AutoCAD users specialize in specific industries, such as architecture or electronic devices, and experience in one area does not necessarily qualify you for others.
