Job Title: Data Scientist Level 3 Job Category: Science Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, advanced machine learning techniques, and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions. This role requires leadership skills to mentor junior data scientists and a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and AI tools. Responsibilities: * Advanced Machine Learning: Apply deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to develop sophisticated data models and algorithms.
* Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
* Cloud Computing: Utilize cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage data science projects.
* Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement cutting-edge data solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
* AI Tools and Capabilities: Leverage AI tools and adhere to Responsible AI (RAI) policies to ensure ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
* Metrics and Evaluation: Create metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for both emerging and existing areas of AI to assess performance and impact.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in data science, analysis, and modeling.
* Advanced machine learning techniques (deep learning, NLP).
* Ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists.
* Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure).
* Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions.
* Good knowledge of AI tools and capabilities, Responsible AI (RAI) policies, and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing areas of AI.
* Certifications:
* Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
* Advanced certifications in specific machine learning domains (Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing)
* AWS Certified Machine Learning
