About the role

The Commercial Credit Analyst is key in making data-backed recommendations through research and analysis of customer financial documents. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data to assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations on behalf of the bank.

Position can be located in Henderson. It is not a remote position.

What you will do

  • Conducts in-depth financial analysis of loan applications including financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and credit reports.
  • Evaluates creditworthiness of prospective borrowers based on financial data, industry trends, and economic conditions.
  • Prepares comprehensive credit presentations outlining the recommended credit structure, terms, and conditions.
  • Monitors the credit risk of the existing portfolio by reviewing financial statements and conducting regular portfolio reviews.
  • Works closely with the loan officer to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions are made.
  • Adheres to all company credit policies and guidelines established by the bank.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or lending preferred.
  • Experience with Moody’s Analytics or similar software strongly preferred.
