Responsibilities
Peraton has an opportunity for you to join our military intelligence program(s) of record to deliver, operate and sustain modernized, transformed data science/ data analysis environments worldwide that enable speedy and precise decision making to warfighters.
Responsibilities:
The Junior Knowledge Manager utilizes skills to manage and distribute information across the program to ensure effective knowledge sharing and utilization to enhance knowledge transfer and operational efficiency and innovation. This position will focus on Object Based Intelligence (OBI). Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
Knowledge Management specifically:
  • Assist in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and stakeholders for analytic production.
  • Utilize centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems.
  • Develop optimal workflows and processes for document and information sharing.
  • Develop a document management system, including features such as document upload, search, and retrieval.
  • Ensure stakeholders have access to the information they need.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics for knowledge management capabilities to include, but not limited to search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data, production and tasking.
  • Disseminate intelligence products across networks and portals.

OBI specifically:
  • Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for deliverables and documentation to ensure easy navigation and accessibility for all users.
  • Ensure ontologies meet the needs of the OBI practitioners.
  • Ensure documents are properly stored, retrievable, and version controlled.
  • Develop an API for integration with other systems, including project management tools and customer relationship management tools.
  • Ensure that all integrations are properly tested and validated before implementation.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and ensure the application is optimized for user experience.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to users on the use of the application, including workflows and documentation

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience or 7 years with no degree.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, databases, and key software applications.
  • Critical thinker with problem solving skills
  • Technical writing skills to produce and revise content.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with users and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the customer environment is preferred.

Security Clearance:
This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
