Job description

The Business Development Senior Analyst position will work directly with the business development leadership performing research and due diligence support for the underwriting of acquisitions, 3rd party management contracts and development projects. The focus of this position is to work independently with various business units to help further grow the business development vertically and assist developing business opportunities for the company.
Project Management:
  • Work independently on various assigned projects with minimum supervision needed
  • Manage time, process and quality deliverables for assigned projects
  • Being able to manage communication and work with both internal and external clients independently

Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results

Process Management:
  • Conduct constant process improvement assessment and identify opportunities to improve existing work process
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; and partnering with internal and external customers to continuously improve the existing business process and practices.

Other:
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in hospitality industry and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of the existing business process
  • Assist in preparation of RFP responses and due diligence for prospective management opportunities
  • Support and align efforts to manage and improve internal databases
  • Utilize the power of AI to identify and develop efficiencies in areas like modelling/data analysis, workflow processes and communications.

Education/Training:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, accounting/finance, economics or related area required

Skills/Experience:
  • A minimum of Two (2) years of hospitality industry experience, consulting and finance experience preferred
  • Proficient in financial modeling and knowledge of lodging and real estate industry required
  • Computer literate, with quantitative modeling skills required
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills
