GENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS JOBReporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the IT Junior Systems Administrator supports the organizations IT Infrastructure by resolving escalated technical issues, and assisting with daily operations across software systems, networks and servers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHEALTH AND SAFETYWork in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for CementationBe aware of any health and safety hazards or infractions and report same to Health and Safety Department Keep the IT office and server room tidy and cleanGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with Active Directory administration (user accounts, groups, GPOs, OU structure).Support Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and licensing.Perform routine system health checks and escalate issues as needed.Manage workstation deployments, imaging, and updates using tools such as Intune, SCCM, or similar.Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and device compliance policies.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues escalated from Tier 2 support in line with SLA's.Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN).Support firewall, switch, and access point configurations under senior guidance.Help maintain security best practices, including MFA, password policies, and access controls.Participate in infrastructure upgrades and small‑scale implementation projects.Maintain accurate documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.Contribute to knowledge base articles for internal IT use.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSThis position has the requirement for occasional travel to our project sites and officesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESHas no direct reports, however, is responsible for monitoring the work of third-party suppliers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECollege degree or diploma 2 years' experienceMicrosoft Certification SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIESHighly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environmentStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to troubleshoot hardware, software and system issues independently.Good understanding of Windows OS & Windows Server fundamentals. Strong networking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & VPN. Experience working with endpoint management tools.
