How to become an AV technician with no experience?

To become a Junior Audio Visual Apprentice or AV technician with no experience, start by gaining basic knowledge of audio and video equipment through online courses or tutorials. Obtain entry-level certifications such as AVIXA CTS or similar, and seek internships or volunteer opportunities to build hands-on skills with equipment like projectors, sound systems, and control systems. Developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with industry-standard tools can help you progress in this field.

What is the highest paying apprenticeship?

The highest paying apprenticeships often include roles in skilled trades such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, which can offer higher wages due to specialized skills. In the audio visual field, apprenticeships that involve advanced technical skills, certifications, and experience with equipment like lighting, sound systems, and control software tend to pay more as they progress. Overall, apprenticeships in technical and trade industries generally provide higher wages compared to entry-level positions.
