Job description

CTI has been a leading audiovisual provider since we began in 1988, and from the beginning, our mission has been simple: to provide a fantastic customer experience.

At CTI, our biggest asset is our people, and we know that sometimes the most awesome employees don’t fit the typical mold. If you are hardworking, friendly, and know the importance of fantastic customer service, you could be a good fit at CTI. We have developed a collaborative and lively working environment, where the best and the brightest show up to work each day ready to have fun and employ their passion for and knowledge of technology in everything they do. This creative atmosphere helps us apply and share our skills with our clients, who seek quality, high-end Audio Visual and Conference Solutions.
So, what are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Technician located at Fort Bragg whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to provide a fantastic customer experience”. Someone who is passionate about AV. We take pride in our employees, who are known in the industry as customer-focused problem-solvers who can get the job done.

What are your responsibilities?
-System Installation & Integration: Install and configure audio, video, and control systems, including video conferencing platforms and networked AV solutions.
-Programming & Configuration: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot control system code (Crestron, AMX, Extron, or similar platforms).
-Rack Fabrication & Cable Management: Build and wire AV racks, pull and terminate cables, and ensure clean, organized installations.
-Documentation & Design: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accurate implementation.
-Testing & Commissioning: Perform system diagnostics, quality assurance, and client acceptance testing.
-Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Will you fit in?

-Our employees fearlessly embrace the company culture, and applicants who merely want to punch in their timecards every day are not what we are looking for.
-You can work independently with minimal guidance, but aren’t afraid to ask the right questions when you need help.
-You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can be the face of our company to our clients.

Does experience count?
-Clearance: TS/SCI Preferred, ability to obtain TS/SCI Required
-Experience: 3+ years in professional commercial AV installation and integration. REQUIRED
2+ years in AV control system programming (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Q-SYS, etc.). REQUIRED
-Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AV/IT networking principles. REQUIRED
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation. REQUIRED
-Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. REQUIRED
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. REQUIRED
Education: Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Other Requirements: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass MVR and CBC. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds over your head. Required

What’s in it for you?

At CTI, we know our company’s success is directly correlated to the success of our employees. So, it’s fitting that we thrive on and encourage employee growth, both professionally and personally.
Our competitive compensation package includes:
-A competitive pay rate (DOE).
-Employer-matched medical insurance, prescription drug coverage, and dental insurance. We also offer Vision Insurance (available after 60 days of employment).
- Employer-matched 401 (k) up to 3% (after 6 months of employment).
-Bonus eligibility based on a results-oriented incentive plan (after 3 months of employment).
-A graduated PTO program, all major holidays off, and three “floating” holidays, available upon your first day of employment.
-Special gifts for significant life events, such as marriage, childbirth, and house buying.
-Cell phone reimbursement plan.
-Long and Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance, 100% paid by CTI.
-And more!
