The Senior Video Editor will be a key player in supporting the Video and overall Creative team through excellence in advanced editorial skill, narrative composition, and content distributed cross channel. This role is responsible for high level editing, supporting junior levels of Video Editors through review and feedback, and well as ensuring standards for the delivery of internal media to stakeholders are maintained. This role may also handle the movement of media and is responsible for communicating with the video team regarding progress of outstanding post-production issues. The Senior Video Editor builds strategies to keep post-production processes efficient, in partnership with the Post Production Manager. This role works closely with Producers, Campaign Managers, Directors, Project Managers, Digital Media Asset Coordinator, and post-production Audio Engineers.

This is an onsite role in Franklin, TN.
Here's some of what you will be doing...
  • Edit long-form and short-form video content from concept through final delivery.
  • Craft engaging narratives using pacing, timing, music, sound design, and visual storytelling techniques.
  • Transform raw footage into polished, high-quality content optimized for audience engagement and retention.
  • Create dynamic edits incorporating motion graphics, animation, titles, transitions, visual effects, and compositing.
  • Perform advanced color correction, color grading, audio mixing, and finishing.
  • Design edits that support storytelling while maintaining creative consistency and technical excellence.
  • Organize and manage complex editing projects, media assets, project files, and version control.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, creative teams, designers, and stakeholders to execute creative vision.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
  • Research and implement emerging editing techniques, AI-assisted workflows, and post-production technologies.
  • Optimize content for multiple platforms including YouTube, social media, streaming, broadcast, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications, branding standards, and production deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience and skills we are seeking...
  • 5-7 years of experience as an editor in film, commercial, or agency related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience using programs including Premiere Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) or similar Non-Linear Editing (NLE) software, After Effects, and Davinci Resolve.
  • Strong working knowledge of Motion Graphics, Animation tools, and Adapting Templates
  • Deep working knowledge of post-production best practices and latest editorial techniques.
  • Includes proficiency in color correction and audio mixing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge using Photoshop.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to direct multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to creative and technical details, comfortable with multi-tasking, willingness to take ownership of team projects during pre-production phase.
  • Ability to effectively transmit ideas, work independently, and as a team leader, present self in a highly professional manner, instilling confidence and trust within the team.
  • Possesses creativity, flexibility, and an enthusiasm with a willingness to jump in and learn new things in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
