Role: Agile Project Manager โ€“ Data Organization
Location: New Jersey (NJ) / Dallas, TX / Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 months

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead complex, data-driven initiatives across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project delivery, data engineering, and stakeholder management, with the ability to drive the successful execution of enterprise-scale data programs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and overall execution.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize work.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
  • Track project progress, delivery milestones, KPIs, and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, blockers, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance team productivity, quality, and Agile maturity.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate with architecture, infrastructure, and platform teams to ensure technical readiness and successful deployments.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Agile Project Manager, or Scrum Master.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing data-centric projects involving data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, BI, or cloud data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Understanding of:
    • ETL/ELT pipelines
    • Data warehousing and data modeling
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
    • Business Intelligence and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex enterprise projects on time and within scope.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification.
  • Previous experience working with AT&T or another large telecommunications organization.
