This is a rare opportunity to become the founding Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for one of Minnesota's fastest-growing dental organizations.

We're seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to lead the development of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Oral Surgery center scheduled to open in May/June 2027 in beautiful Alexandria, Minnesota.

Unlike joining an established practice, this position allows you to help build something exceptional from the ground up. You'll work directly with leadership to influence everything from the surgical workflow and technology selection to operatory design, equipment layout, and overall patient experience—creating a practice that reflects how you want to practice Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

This is an ideal opportunity for a surgeon who enjoys practicing with autonomy, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact while building a thriving referral-based practice.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Founding Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
  • Brand-new, purpose-built Oral Surgery facility opening May/June 2027
  • Participate in the design and development of your future surgical center
  • Influence equipment selection, technology, workflow, and clinical layout
  • Build the practice alongside an experienced, financially stable organization
  • Strong internal referral network from multiple established General and Pediatric Dentists
  • Immediate patient demand with significant referral growth anticipated
  • Full clinical autonomy
  • Hands-on practice focused on comprehensive Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Flexible scheduling with excellent work-life balance
Clinical Scope

Practice the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery based on your training and interests, including:

  • Dentoalveolar Surgery
  • Surgical Wisdom Teeth Extractions
  • Dental Implant Surgery
  • Bone Grafting
  • Sinus Augmentation
  • Full-Arch Implant Rehabilitation
  • Exposure & Bonding
  • Oral Pathology
  • Biopsies
  • Pre-Prosthetic Surgery
  • Facial Trauma (based on experience and privileges)
  • IV Sedation and General Anesthesia

The organization is committed to investing in the technology and equipment necessary to support your clinical vision and long-term success.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Guaranteed Base Salary plus a highly competitive production model
  • Expected annual earnings of $700,000–$1,000,000+, based on production
  • Sign-On Bonus
  • Relocation Assistance
  • CE Allowance
  • Paid Malpractice Insurance
  • Employer contribution toward Health Insurance
  • 401(k) with Employer Match
  • Flexible employment options available
  • Lab and implant support
  • Partnership opportunities available for the right candidate
Why Join This Organization?
  • Financially strong and rapidly expanding dental organization
  • Proven history of investing in providers and new technology
  • Modern administrative support allowing surgeons to focus on patient care
  • Established referral relationships from multiple thriving practices
  • Collaborative leadership that values physician input
  • Opportunity to build your ideal surgical practice from day one
Why Alexandria, Minnesota?

Alexandria is one of Minnesota's most desirable lake communities, offering an outstanding quality of life with the amenities of a regional hub and the charm of a close-knit community. Surrounded by more than 350 lakes, the area is a paradise for boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, hunting, and year-round outdoor recreation.

Residents enjoy outstanding schools, affordable housing, a vibrant downtown, excellent healthcare, and convenient access to Interstate 94, making travel throughout Minnesota simple. Whether you're looking to raise a family, enjoy the outdoors, or escape the pace of a major metropolitan area without sacrificing opportunity, Alexandria offers an exceptional place to live and practice.

If you've ever wanted to build a surgical practice your way—not inherit someone else's—this is your opportunity to shape the future of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery within a growing organization committed to excellence.
