Do you want to learn more about how to use your clinical degree and skills towards social justice in daily life?
If you answered yes, then JRI is looking for you!
JRI's Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. We are looking for interns working in their 2nd year of their clinical Master's degree program or Bachelor's level students interested in pursuing community based work to join our Community Service Agency (CSA) team of Cape Cod. In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by supporting this mission. Our staff provide services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum enrolled and working towards a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or above in the mental health field, social work, or psychology.
  • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
