If you answered yes, then JRI is looking for you!
JRI's Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In this position through our Cape Cod Community Based Program you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by supporting this mission. During your time in a JRI internship all the skills needed to be successive at community based mental health will be worked on with you through supervision and support. Our staff provide services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum working towards a Master's degree or above in the mental health field (psychology or social work)
  • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
