The Analyst, Data & Financial Reporting will support the Finance Business Partnering team by delivering accurate reporting, meaningful insights, and high-quality financial data. In this role, you will contribute to financial planning cycles, support performance analysis, and help enhance the team's data capabilities. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and colleagues from corporate function to enable informed, data driven decisions.

Your Impact

Data improvement 

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data from systems (Oracle Fusion, Hyperion/EPM) used by the team.
  • Buil robust financial models using multi-dimensional data sets.
  • Consolidate, validate, and interpret data to support Finance Business Partners.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and root-cause issues to improve data and timeliness.
  • Assist in preparation of budget, forecast planning cycles.

Reporting & Modelling

  • Develop and maintain standards for financial reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Support the design and enhancement of performance monitoring tools for corporate functions.
  • Ensure data consistency and reliability across reporting processes.
  • Prepare and automate structured reporting packages.

Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen their role in the datacreation process.

  • Drive the automation and standardisation of reporting processes, reducing manual effort, cycle times, and data inconsistencies while improving reliability and scalability.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives that embed datadriven decisionmaking, including the adoption of common metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Finance business partners to optimize financial cycles and analysis production.

  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; ability to structure and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent command of Excel and power queries.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Python, Tableau, an asset.
  • Familiarity with financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion/EPM) an advantage.
  • Strong ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in professional services or engineering consulting is considered an asset

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $77,400 - $102,500 
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200 
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
