Job description

Overview:
Astera Credit Union is currently seeking qualified applicants for a position as a Branch Manager at our Jolly Rd. Branch location in Lansing, MI. The purpose of this position is to adequately and effectively serve Astera Credit Union's members and staff by overseeing and managing branch staff and operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to motivate, lead, coach, and develop the branch staff to provide the highest level of service possible to our members. This position oversees critical branch operations and assists in performing tasks necessary to achieve the credit union's mission and strategic goals.
The Qualified Applicant Will Have:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
  • Two to five years of related managerial experience or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in the financial industry required.
  • Previous experience managing employees.
  • Additional education and experience is also desirable.

This is a full-time, salaried, non-union, management-level position. The salary range for this position starts at $55,000, commensurate with the chosen candidate's qualifications. Eligible for performance-based bonuses in addition to base compensation. Astera Credit Union offers an outstanding benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability, FSA, EAP, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and longevity bonus. Hours of work vary between the hours of 8:15am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday and between 8:30am and 2:00pm on Saturdays.
