Job description

Shift Incentive Opportunities: 
+ $1.25/hour for hours worked 5pm - 12am
+ $2/hour for hours worked 12am - 8am
+ $3/hour for weekends worked Friday 5pm - Monday 8am

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of Integrated Treatment & Recovery Services Programs Coordinator.  Serves as a Master's level professional clinician performing a wide range of therapy and case management services within a withdrawal management (detoxification) program, including assessment, individual/group therapy, continuing care planning and case management.  The Integrated Treatment & Recovery Services Program is located within the main Community Mental Health Authority - Clinton, Eaton, Ingham's facility.   Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures.  

Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required or must be obtained within 60 days of application. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required or must have applied for and be able to obtain within 60 days of hire. One year of experience (professional or paraprofessional) in treating or working with a person who has a substance use disorder required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons who have a substance use disorder required.  Must be a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) or apply for a Development Plan and work towards certification following that plan within a maximum of 3 years from date of hire, or change in regulations.  Access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.

Conditional Employment Requirement: Offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, Law Enforcement Information Network review verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history.  Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.  Must undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening.

Salary/Hours: $31.92 - $35.75 per hour. 0-19 hours per week. Hours are NOT guaranteed, but, individuals who work relief at ITRS have the opportunity to also work relief hours at another location within the Substance Abuse Services continuum of care, which could increase number of hours worked.  Relief position-filling in for regular staff. Required to work weekends and CMHA-CEI observes holidays.
