This position is contingent upon successful contract award.
Job Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, implementation, and assessment of complex training programs that ensure staff readiness across the Joint Force. Requires understanding of how the Joint Staff interacts with CCMDs and Services.
  • Readiness Framework Management: Lead the development and maintenance of the Master Training Plan (MTP), ensuring all training objectives are mapped to the Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) and Joint Mission Essential Task List (JMETL).
  • Instructional Delivery: Coordinate and deliver high-level user training to CCMD and JTF Headquarters staffs.
  • Strategic Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough analytical assessments to identify operational risks; provide comprehensive strategies and recommend technical solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Process Engineering: Design and implement standardized organizational processes and procedures to improve staff efficiency.
  • Staffing & Coordination: Expertly develop and route formal staffing packages, utilizing knowledge of Joint Staff structures, missions, and inter-agency relationships.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Plan and conduct professional working groups to build consensus across CCMDs, Military Services, and DoD Agencies, maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Travel may be required.

Requirements
Experience Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate successful performance in the following core competencies:
  • Training Systems: Proficiency with JMETL, UJTL, and the creation of Master Training Plans (MTP).
  • Operational Training: Experience developing, maintaining, performing, coordinating and/or delivering use training to CCMD and Joint Task Force Headquarters staffs.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to perform complex analytical analysis and develop risk mitigation solutions. Experience in the development of processes and procedures.
  • Institutional Knowledge: Familiarity with Joint Staff Structure, its mission, and its relationships with CCMDs, Services, and DoD Agencies. In-depth knowledge of the Joint Doctrine Process and its application to headquarters staff.
  • Communication & Staffing: Mastery of modern English grammar and the ability to develop professional staffing packages and briefings.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles to oversee long-range training and planning cycles.
  • Event Facilitation: Experience planning, conducting and leading military working groups.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • No degree required, provided the candidate has at least 7 years of warfighting operational experience.

Clearance Requirements: Possesses and maintain TS/SCI
