Job description

At The Joel Bieber Firm (JBF), our clientsโ€™ needs are at the forefront of what we do and constantly drive us to provide excellent, personalized customer service. With the continuous growth of our offices, we have the need to expand our team to include a Firm Investigator to ensure that every client begins their experience and journey with the Joel Bieber Firm on the highest note.

Our Investigators provide investigation assistance to attorneys and support staff by helping to determine liability and provide proof and factual data to substantiate client claims to seek the best results for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly explain the firmโ€™s initial processes and procedure for new cases.
  • Confirm case information pertaining to insurance coverage(s) for auto and medical, treatment, and client information.
  • Travel to potential client home for remote sign-ups
  • Gathering all pertinent documentation from the potential client
  • Photograph damage to vehicles and of accident scenes
  • Deliver and/or pick up documents to clients, medical providers, and courthouses.
  • Conduct witness phone interviews.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation including visual aids such as demonstrative evidence, posters for jury instructions, enlarged photos, etc.
  • Provide documentation of research and investigative results. Update records and notes in case management program appropriately.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on client concerns.
  • Mailing correspondence from the firm to new clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines required.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills; initiative, attention to detail.
  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
  • Background in law enforcement a plus.
