Job description

Location: Mobile, AL

Pay: $25-$30/hour, depending on experience + overtime

Schedule: Full-time, typically five 8-hour days with significant overtime available

We are seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians who can step into the field, diagnose

problems, make repairs, and contribute quickly. Our client is an established HVAC company that has been serving customers for more than 50 years and stays consistently busy. This is a great opportunity for a dependable technician who wants steady work, strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a company where you can build a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

● Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems

● Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues

● Perform HVAC repairs and installations as needed

● Make sound repair decisions independently in the field

● Communicate with customers and the service team about equipment issues and

recommended repairs

● Complete preventative maintenance and service work safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

We care more about strong HVAC fundamentals and work ethic than checking every box on a job description.

You should have:

● Solid hands-on HVAC service and repair experience

● Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

● The ability to work independently in the field

● A valid driver’s license

● EPA certification for refrigerant handling

● Your own basic hand tools

● A strong attendance and reliability record

● Commercial HVAC experience is preferred, but experienced residential service

technicians may also be considered if you have strong air-cooled equipment knowledge

and can transition quickly into commercial work.

● Experience with boilers, water-cooled equipment, building automation, refrigeration,

schematics, or mechanical drawings is helpful, but training is available for the right

technician in areas where you may have gaps.

What Matters Most

Reliability!

We are looking for technicians who show up on time, come to work consistently, work

hard, and do what they say they are going to do.

You’ll have support from the Service Manager and office team, but you should also be

comfortable diagnosing problems and making decisions independently in the field.

Pay & Benefits

● $25-$30/hour, depending on experience

● Overtime paid at 1.5x

● Significant overtime opportunities, including some Saturdays

● Full family medical coverage at no cost to the employee

● 401(k) with 4.5% company match after your first year

● Company vehicle

● Performance and compensation reviews approximately every six months

● 1 week paid vacation after 1 year

● 2 weeks paid vacation after 5 years

Why This Opportunity?

If you are a skilled HVAC technician who wants to work, there is opportunity here. You’ll get

steady work, strong overtime earning potential, excellent family medical benefits, limited travel, a company vehicle, and the stability of an employer that has been in business for more than five decades. For the right technician, this can be a place to build a long-term career.
