Career Paths/ Pay:
Level 1: "Groundie" - $20-$22/hr
  • Requirements: Driver's license, great attitude, physical strength, and stamina to work long hours in all weather conditions.
  • Basic Duties: Support aerial workers with rope operations, assist in trimming trees, dragging brush, hauling wood, maintaining clean job sites, planting trees and operating equipment like chippers.
  • Training Provided: Basic knots, job safety, communication skills, company software, tree identification, chainsaw operation, equipment handling, trailer backing, and proper loading technique. Advancement: 3-6 months to Level 2.

Level 2: "Advanced Groundie"-$22-$26/hr
  • Requirements: Drivers license, solid equipment and truck/trailer handling skills, basic pruning, and tree-felling skills.
  • Basic Duties: Advanced equipment operation, rigging support, and stump grinding as well as everything listed in level 1.
  • Training Provided: Advanced knots, tree felling, rigging techniques, jobsite setup, and lift operation basics. Advancement: 3-6 months to Level 3.

Level 3: Aerial Lift Operator/Climber - $24-$30/hr
  • Requirements: Class A CDL, skilled with spider lifts, intermediate rigging, and pruning skills. Climbing roles are selective. We will provide the CDL.
  • Basic Duties: Intermediate lift operation, rigging, and pruning. Some aerial workers will become climbers.
  • Training Provided: Advanced rigging, pruning, leadership development, and preparation for arborist certification. Advancement: 6-12 months to Level 4.

Level 4: Certified Arborist - Foreman/Sales - $30-$34/hr
  • Requirements: Class A CDL, certified arborist credential, and leadership abilities.
  • Basic Duties: Lead a crew, ensure safety and productivity, inspire, and develop other team members.
  • Continuous Learning: Rigging, climbing, pruning, cabling, tree care, leadership. The growth is limitless

All Positions: This role involves driving company vehicles and requires eligibility under our commercial auto insurance policy. Severe, recent, or frequent driving violations may affect qualification.
