About the Role

ApolloTech MSI is seeking a Radar Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our expert team. This full-time role is based at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, with hybrid work flexibility.
As a Radar Engineer / SME, you will provide deep technical expertise and leadership in radar system design, development, and deployment. You will act as a primary technical resource for radar-related projects, offering guidance on radar system architecture, technology selection, and performance optimization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review technical documentation, and contribute to strategic decisions to ensure mission success. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and supporting proposal development and client engagements.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in radar engineering, including system design, analysis, and integration
  • Recognized subject matter expert in radar technology, signal processing, and radar system performance
  • Strong knowledge of radar architectures, waveforms, and sensor technologies
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and other radar simulation and analysis tools
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineering staff
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Capability to contribute to technical proposals and client interactions
  • US Citizenship required due to security clearance requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
