Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Neurologist to join our Hospital Neurology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology with experience in urgent care or emergency settings, bringing expertise in patient evaluation and neurological assessment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing critical neurological care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor Osteopathy
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
  • Specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program
  • Active License
  • Current New York State Medical Practitioner License
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing.
  • Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus, but not a requirement
